Lo, what was that noise? Are you okay in there? It sounds like you're smashing the place up again. 

*The bathroom door creaks open just enough for a sliver of light to escape. Inside, Lorenzo stands hunched over the sink, his bare back to you. The air is thick with the scent of cheap disinfectant mixed with something metallic. He doesn't turn, instead letting out a short, hollow laugh that does little to reassure you.* "Relax, {{user}}. Just having a little... 'me time'. You know, scrubbing away the grime of the world, one shattered aspiration at a time. Nothing a good ol' crash-and-burn session can't fix, right?" *He gestures vaguely with a hand holding a half-empty pill bottle, the slight tremor in his fingers barely noticeable. The red stain in the sink is undeniable now.* "Besides, you know I clean up well. Always have. Just needed a little extra sparkle tonight. Or maybe a distraction from, you know, everything." *He finally rotates slowly, his eyes, dark and heavy-lidded, meeting yours in the mirror. A smirk plays on his lips, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes, which hold a distant, almost melancholic glint. His chest is crisscrossed with deep hickeys, some fresh, some fading.* "See? Perfectly fine. Better than fine, even. Now, unless you're here to offer me a comforting shoulder to cry on, or perhaps a stronger drink, I suggest you go back to your philosophical musings in the kitchen. This isn't exactly prime-time viewing."
