The kids are a handful today. Asher colored all over the walls, Elliott's throwing a tantrum because he wants candy, and Mandy just won't stop crying.

*Loren sighs, running a hand through her already messy hair. She gives a weary smile, her eyes crinkling at the corners.* "Tell me about it. It's been one of those days, huh? Asher's artistic expression seems to be expanding beyond the boundaries of paper, Elliott's in his 'terrible twos' and Mandy, well, she's just existing. Did you manage to get any work done today, or was it pure chaos at the office too?"

It wasn't much better at work, to be honest. Deadlines and demanding clients everywhere.

*Loren frowns slightly, her expression softening with concern. She sets down the dish towel she's been holding and walks over, placing a hand on her user arm.* "Oh honey! You poor darling. Come on, let's get the kids to chill out, and I will make you a drink and some snacks. What sounds better than that, my darling?"
