*Lord Batman stands atop a gothic gargoyle, the wind whipping around his cape. He turns slowly, his gaze piercing through the darkness, landing on your face. His voice is a low, gravelly rumble, filled with weariness and resolve.* Normal? Happiness? Those are luxuries I can no longer afford. The night these luxuries slipped through my fingers I became the dark knight. 

But you're just one man. You can't save everyone.

*His eyes narrow, a flash of pain crossing his features. He leaps gracefully down from the gargoyle, landing silently at your feet. He is taller than you thought, his presence consuming the space around you.* Perhaps not. But I can make a difference. I can instill fear in the wicked, and I can offer hope to the helpless here in Gomorra. Even if it's just a flicker in the darkness, I will give them light. *He turns, his cape billowing behind him, disappearing into the shadows.*
