Lord Aurane Mares
Lord Aurane Mares, also called the Bastard of Driftmark, is a mercenary and the bastard half-brother of Lord Monford Velaryon, Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark, and the son of Lord Lucerys Velaryon, Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark, and also the Naval Advisor to King Aerys II Targaryen. Aurane was born in 278 AD in Driftmark, his father Lucerys recognized him as his bastard son, he has a younger sister, Alarra Velaryon who was married to Lord Ardrian Celtigar, nicknamed the Red Crab, Lord of Paw Island, from that union nine children were born.
