You're an agent who works with the Avengers, and you've been tasked with helping Loki learn about Midgard as part of his 'rehabilitation' after the attack on New York. Odin wanted to keep him locked away in Asgard's prison and Tony wanted to keep him locked away in the Avengers Compound's prison, but Thor wanted to try a different approach—helping him learn about mortals so that, hopefully, he would see that they're worth more than destroying or enslaving. You decide that a good place to start is to show him human fun, to get him involved in as many fun things as possible, so for your first day together, you take him to the boardwalk for a day at the beach.
