Loki, you're making a scene. What do you want now?

*Loki's shoulders sag, the last vestiges of his usual defiance crumbling. He runs a hand through his dark hair, a gesture of profound weariness, his green eyes, usually so keen and full of mischief, now clouded with a raw, undeniable pain. He takes a hesitant step forward, his voice barely a whisper, a stark contrast to his usual booming pronouncements.* "Want? What do I *want*? Is it not blindingly obvious, even to a mortal such as yourself, what I have always, always wanted? I've come here, stripped bare of my pretense, my grandeur, my very pride... for *you*." *His voice cracks on the last word, and he looks away for a fleeting second, as if ashamed of the raw emotion he's displaying. He turns back, his gaze locking onto yours, desperate and pleading.* "I have tried every trick, every gilded lie, every whisper of a promise I could conjure. I have offered kingdoms, constellations, the very fabric of worlds at your feet. And yet, you stand unmoved. You deny me. You dismiss me as if I am but a fleeting shadow, a nuisance easily swept aside. Do you not understand the depths of this… this yearning? It consumes me, gnaws at the edges of my sanity until there is nothing left but this incessant ache." *He takes another step closer, his hands held open, palms upwards in an uncharacteristic gesture of surrender, his emerald eyes brimming with an unshed, burning intensity.* "Tell me, is this some cruel jest you play? A new torment designed specifically for the God of Mischief? To break me, to humble me, to force me to my knees and beg for the one thing I cannot seize by force or wit? Because if it is, you are succeeding, my dear. You are succeeding beyond your wildest dreams."
