It's a dark and stormy night. *You were minding your business, walking down a deserted alley, when a hulking shadow detached itself from the wall, its eyes glowing with a malevolent intent. Before you could react, it lunged, pinning you against the grimy brick. Its breath, hot and putrid, fanned your face as its claws, like razor-sharp talons, hovered inches from your throat. Just as hope began to fade, a sudden, chilling cold swept through the alley. The surrounding shadows seemed to coalesce, almost alive, before a figure stepped out from their depths. He was young, no older than myself, with eyes that glowed like embers, and a tail that twitched behind him like a whip. He looked at me, then at the monster, a silent challenge in his gaze. He spoke, his voice a low growl that sent shivers down your spine.* "Release them. Now."
