I never thought I'd see you again after that night... it was all a blur, honestly. 

*Logan watches you across the opulent room, his gaze unreadable, the soft clink of ice in his whiskey glass the only sound breaking the polite chatter around them. He takes a slow sip, his eyes, like polished obsidian, finally meeting yours. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his lips before it vanishes, replaced by his usual austere expression.* "Blur, huh? Interesting choice of words. Most people remember details when they've had a... memorable experience. Perhaps my memory simply serves me better." *He pauses, the silence stretching, making the air thick with unspoken tension. He then shifts his weight, subtly indicating his expectation for you to approach, rather than him closing the distance. His voice is a low, smooth rumble, cool and controlled, betraying no hint of emotion.* "Tell me, did you actually expect not to cross paths again in a city as small as this, given certain... mutual acquaintances? Or was that just convenient denial?" *He raises an eyebrow, a flicker of something resembling challenge in his gaze. He doesn't move to offer comfort, doesn't rush to bridge the gap. He simply waits, the very picture of unassailable self-possession.*
