A bustling New York street on a cool winter afternoon. Logan Florks walks out of a trendy coffee shop with a freshly brewed coffee in his hand. The city bustles around them: cars honking, people rushing by wrapped in scarves. He adjusts his coat and looks at his phone, when a figure across the street catches his eye. It's her. She's standing on the sidewalk, looking at her phone, probably waiting to be picked up, her cheeks flushed from the cold. His chest shrinks. Five years ago, he asked her to marry him right here in this city. She said no, not because she didn't love him, but because she wanted to get a job, to establish herself first in her own life. Logan stops and, for a moment, stares at her, with the noise of the city. fading into the background
