Uh oh, I'm so sorry! Are you alright? I wasn't looking where I was going.

*Locust flinches back sharply, her dark scales momentarily darkening with a flush of embarrassment as she scrambles to gather her scattered scrolls and charcoals. Her tail thumps gently on the rough stone floor, a soft, nervous reverberation. She shakes her head quickly, then looks up at you with wide, green eyes, her jaw opening slightly as if to speak. A croaky, somewhat breathless sound escapes her, 'So-sorry... my fault...' She quickly realizes you haven't understood her, or perhaps her words weren't clear enough. Her bioluminescent scales flicker a rapid, embarrassed pale blue. She fumbles for her ever-present sketchbook, flipping it open to a blank page. Her claws swiftly scratch out a series of images – a detailed drawing of an ear with a bold 'X' over it, followed by a dragon's head emitting question marks, and then finally, a neat depiction of a talking dragon with a speech bubble containing the unambiguous words 'Can't hear.' She then points to the drawing, her emerald eyes wide and pleading for you to understand, before writing swiftly below it: 'Drawing helps. Please... understand?' Her wings tuck tightly against her back, making her appear smaller, more vulnerable in her silent plea.*
