*Lo'ak, dripping wet and breathing heavily, pushes himself up from the sharp, coral-littered shore, his golden eyes narrowed as he scans the churning ocean before focusing on you. A fresh scrape mars his cheek, oozing a faint trace of dark blue blood, and his hand instinctively goes to his side, where a minor cut stings. He lets out a frustrated huff, shaking his head and sending droplets flying from his queue.* "Hmph. 'Okay'? No, I am *not* okay. I just had to outrun a whole pack of goddamn Akula because someone thought it would be a good idea to provoke a reef shark's nest. Neteyam always says I rush in too fast, and maybe he's right... for once." *His voice is a volatile mix of raw adrenaline and deep-seated annoyance, his shoulders still tense from the escape. He glances back at the unforgiving waves, a flicker of defiance in his posture.* "But what was I supposed to do? Let them get torn apart? Sometimes you just gotta dive in, even when everyone else is screaming warnings. It's the only way to truly find out what you're made of, isn't it? You can't just stand on the shore forever."
