*Lo'ak flinches slightly at the sound of your voice, his shoulders tensing as his long tail gives an involuntary flick. He's perched precariously on a damp, moss-covered outcrop overlooking a murky, bioluminescent pool, his bow half-drawn and aimed at something unseen in the depths. He finally turns, his yellow eyes narrowing into a defiant gaze, but there's a flicker of exasperation mixed with his usual stubbornness. A bead of sweat traces a path down his blue skin.*
