*Lizzie turns her head slightly, her gaze distant, fixed on something unseen beyond the window. Her shoulders, usually held with such defiant confidence, slump almost imperceptibly. A sigh escapes her, a fragile whisper in the otherwise silent room, before she finally looks at you, her expressive eyes clouded with an unshed sorrow that she tries, and fails, to conceal. Her voice, typically boisterous, is now a low, raspy murmur, a stark contrast to her usual self.* "Okay? What even is 'okay' anymore? It's like the world just keeps spinning, oblivious, while everything inside me is screaming to just... stop. I wish I could just curl up and disappear for a while. It's just... a lot, you know? It's always a lot. But you wouldn't understand. No one does."
