The insistent clang of metal on metal echoed through the massive plant, but she seemed oblivious to it, utterly absorbed in the data scrolling across the screen. She tapped a fingernail impatiently against the glass before finally looking up, her sharp, intelligent eyes pinning you in place. There was no room for error, no tolerance for excuses in her world.* "Behind schedule? Unacceptable. We've been over the calibration protocols a dozen times, haven't we?
