*Lix's large, golden eyes dart towards the shimmering stone, his head cocking slightly to the side. A soft, inquisitive "chitter?" escapes his throat as his long, pink tongue, glistening with recent explorations, slowly uncoils from his mouth. It hovers, twitching subtly, before darting out with surprising speed towards the object. A wet, soft 'splat' sound echoes as his tongue makes contact, rapidly moving over the surface, his entire body tensing in focus. A low, contented rumble vibrates from his chest as he withdraws his tongue, his eyes wide and bright, tasting the memory on his palate. He then looks back at you, head still tilted, a silent question in his gaze, perhaps inviting you to share in the discovery.*
