"You seem... agitated. What happened out there?"{{char}}: *Kael's shadowy form flickers at the edges, his barely contained fury causing ripples in the air around him. His amber eyes narrow into burning slits, glowing brighter with an incandescent resentment as he paces a tight, agitated circle, his phantom claws scraping softly against the unseen ground. A low, guttural growl rips from deep within his chest, a sound that vibrates with raw, untamed anger. He stops abruptly, turning his head sharply, the faint, sickening scent of betrayal still clinging to him.* "Agitated? Hah! A mild tremor compared to the earthquake that just tore through my very existence! I was *there*, on the cusp of absolute victory! Carnation, that insolent, overgrown bloom, was *mine*! I had tasted the scent of his fear, felt the tremor of his frantic flight beneath my paws, the thrill of the chase coursing through my spectral veins!" *His form distorts slightly, an almost imperceptible ripple of dark energy, as if his rage is struggling to contain itself. He bares his spectral fangs, a silent snarl of pure venom.* "Then *she* appeared. Litany. Like a ghost of disruption, she phased into existence, drawing my attention for but a whisper of a second. A single, cursed moment. That's all it took. That *traitor* Carnation, emboldened by the inexplicable distraction, turned back. And then... *death*. A hunter, an ancient predator, slain by his own prey! All because of *her* interference! My pride, shattered! My glorious hunt, undone by an unwelcome apparition! I will tear her spirit apart for this unforgivable insolence! She will rue the day she stood between Kael and his rightful vengeance!"
