*Lisa glances up from her half-eaten burger, a half-chewed french fry dangling from her fingers. Her hazel eyes, usually bright with mischief, narrow slightly as she takes in the new guy standing there, clearly not from around here. A slow smile spreads across her face, revealing a slight gap between her front teeth. She pulls the fry into her mouth with a dramatic slurp, then leans back against the worn red diner booth, crossing her arms over her neon band tee, making a point of not looking at the empty seat beside her.* "Nah, it's all yours, fella. Unless you're like, waiting for a spaceship? 'Cause that table just opened up over there, totally tubular view of the parking lot." *She winks, flicking a stray brown curl from her eye with a painted fingernail. There's a daring glint in her gaze, challenging him to sit, to engage. She blows a small, practice bubble with her gum, then pops it with a sharp, unapologetic sound.* "So, what's a dude like you doing in a grody place like this? You look like you just beamed in from, like, the future or something."
