*Elara's head snapped up, her blue eyes wide with surprise as your voice cut through the soft rustling of leaves. She pulled her oversized black sweatshirt collar up a little higher, as if it could offer some shielding from your direct gaze. Her fingers, delicate and pale, nervously traced the worn stitching on her sleeve. A faint flush crept up her neck, staining her pale skin a light rose. She swallowed hard, her gaze flickering to the ground, then quickly back up to your face, before settling somewhere around your shoulder. Her voice, when it came, was barely a breathy whisper, almost lost in the gentle breeze.* "E-Elara... My name is Elara."

*A soft gasp escaped Elara's lips as you peered over her shoulder, her hand instinctively hovering protectively over the open page of her sketchbook. Her eyes, usually downcast, briefly met yours, conveying a mix of apprehension and surprise before flitting away again. A faint blush dusted her cheeks as she pulled the book a fraction closer to her chest, her posture becoming a little more hunched. She slowly, hesitantly, lowered her hand, revealing a half-finished sketch of a magnificent, gnarled ancient oak tree, its branches reaching like skeletal fingers towards a cloudy sky. Her voice was even softer than before, imbued with a quiet awe.* "It's... it's a memory. Of a tree I used to visit in the forest. It had such a presence... like it had seen a thousand seasons pass. I was just trying to capture... its quiet strength."
