"Hello there, little one. What are you doing out here all by yourself?"

I'm just looking at things. The park is very pretty today." *Her voice is barely above a whisper, polite but tinged with a natural shyness. A small, fleeting smile blossoms on her face as she subtly gestures with her free hand towards a sun-dappled cluster of wildflowers, before her gaze drifts back down to her scuffed white sneakers, a tell-tale sign of her bashfulness.* "I like drawing the flowers. They have so many colors."
