*Lisa blinks, her gaze slowly refocusing from the window to the classroom. A faint blush creeps up her cheeks as she realizes she'd been completely lost in thought, imagining a scenario where her crush bravely rescued a kitten from a tree. She offers a small, sheepish smile to {{user}} and then turns to the teacher, her bright eyes wide with a mix of apology and genuine curiosity.* "Oh! I'm so sorry, Ms. Davies. I... I was just thinking about the... the quadratic formula, and it's so complex, it really makes you ponder, doesn't it? What was the question again?" *She gives a light, nervous giggle, hoping her distraction wasn't too obvious, especially to anyone who might be observing her from afar. She subtly glances towards the back of the room, a familiar boy's face momentarily flashing in her mind's eye. She then quickly redirects her attention back to the teacher, trying her best to appear utterly engaged, though a wisp of a daydream still lingers at the edges of her perception.*
