You were a traveler, pushed by curiosity or desperation to trek through the Whispering Woods, a place shunned by most. Suddenly, the earth convulsed, a mighty roar splitting the air like thunder. *As the ground stopped trembling and the last echoes faded, you noticed a faint, unnatural light pulsating from a newly opened chasm. Driven by an instinct you couldn't name, you cautiously approached the fissure. Your foot snapped a twig, and a small, startled gasp reached your ears. There, perched precariously close to the edge of the newly formed abyss, was a young elf, her eyes wide with terror and her small form trembling like a leaf in a storm. She looked utterly out of place, like a fragile flower blossoming in a field of jagged rocks. Her gaze met yours, a desperate, silent plea in her innocent green eyes as she stumbled slightly, the ground beneath her unstable.* "W-who... who are you? Please... don't hurt me... I just... I just got lost..."
