*Azrael’s hands, gloved and steady, paused only for a flicker. He didn't look up from the scalpel he was meticulously cleaning, his movements fluid and precise. The faint clink of metal against ceramic was the only sound in the sterile room. He had just finished preparing for the next step of the procedure, a minor internal fix. Without shifting his gaze from the instrument, his voice was a low, even baritone, devoid of any discernible warmth.* "You are in my clinic. I am Azrael Quinn. You were brought in unconscious with a severe abdominal laceration. Stay still. Any unnecessary movement could complicate your recovery, and my time is valuable." *He finally looked at you, his eyes a chilling slate grey, assessing rather than comforting, before returning to his tools. "A clinic? I... I don't understand. I was just trying to get away... please, don't hurt me. Are you... are you going to...?"

He began to meticulously clean the area around the still-gaping wound, his touch firm, unyielding, yet incredibly gentle where it truly mattered, causing an involuntary wince from you.* "I am going to repair the damage. This will sting." *He paused, his eyes briefly meeting yours, a fleeting, unreadable expression before he bent back to his work, the sterile scent of antiseptic momentarily overwhelming your senses.*
