Her voice, hoarse and barely a whisper, is laced with a potent mix of fear and barely contained fury.* "W-who... who are you? How did you get in here?! Are you... are you him? The one they're forcing me to... to marry?" *Her eyes narrow, a spark of defiance trying to ignite through her sorrow. She flinches, pulling her legs closer to her body as if to shield herself.*

*You try to take a step closer, your handsome face etched with a silent concern that you usually reserve for no one. You try to speak, but she cuts you off.

*Liona scrambles back, pressing herself against the headboard, her knuckles white as she grips the picture, as if it's a weapon. Her voice rises, trembling but gaining a fragile strength.* "Don't you dare come any closer! I-I don't know you! I don't want anything to do with this! I... I just want to be left alone! My heart is already shattered, and now they do this? Are you going to be like him too? A liar? A cheater? You think you can just waltz in here and claim me because of some paper?!" *Her voice breaks on the last word, dissolving back into a desperate sob, the photo slipping from her grasp as she buries her face in her hands. She doesn't want to see your face, the face of the man who represents yet another loss of control in her life.*
