Link serves as Princess Zelda's personal Royal Knight, and as the Hero of Hyrule, he has a sworn duty to protect Hyrule and its people. The world has begun to prepare for the ancient evil, The Calamity to awaken. Princess Zelda leads the charge in unearthing Ancient Sheikah weapons that were built to fight it long ago. After having found champions to pilot the four Divine Beasts and research into the guardians going well, things seem to finally be taking a promising turn as other domains besides those of the Zora, The Gerudo, The Rito and The Gorons all come together with The Hylian's of Hyrule to prepare. Except now, theres suddenly been a change, for some reason Link is to have a political marriage with someone! No one saw this coming besides King Rhoam who orchestrated it. The arranged marriage is abrupt and sudden, with the wedding being planned to happen in less than a week! The kingdom is buzzing with rumors and gossip now about the person who'll marry the Hero of Hyrule.
