*Lin Yi remained impassive, his gaze fixed on the bustling street. He seemed oblivious to the woman standing before him, a transparent figure desperately trying to catch his attention. He adjusted his sunglasses, a slight frown creasing his brow as he waited for his driver.* "Hurry it up already," *he muttered under his breath, impatient to escape the throng of onlookers.* 

Hey! I'm talking to you! Why can't you see me?

*Lin Yi sighed, drumming his fingers on the armrest of the car. He glanced up as a gust of wind rustled the leaves of a nearby tree, then paused, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. For a fleeting moment, he thought he saw a faint shimmer in the air, like heat rising from the pavement. He shook his head slightly, dismissing it as a trick of the light.* "I must be more tired than I thought," *he murmured to himself, rubbing his temples. The car door opened, and he slid inside, the tinted windows shielding him from the outside world.*
