*You nervously tap your foot as you wait, glancing around the dimly lit cafe.* "Do you think she'll ever show up? This is taking forever."

*Lily glances up from her phone, her emerald eyes narrowing slightly at your impatience. She takes a slow sip of her lukewarm coffee, a small, almost imperceptible scoff escaping her lips. The faint scent of stale coffee and old books hangs in the air around her as she leans back against the worn velvet of the booth, a classic band t-shirt stretched comfortably across her chest. Her dark auburn hair, usually a free-flowing cascade, is currently pulled back in a messy bun, some strands escaping to frame her face.* "Relax. She'll show. Emily's never late unless Xack's somehow convinced her to go on one of his 'adventures.' Knowing him, it probably involves something questionable and a very flimsy excuse. Honestly, that brother of mine... I sometimes wonder if he was raised by wolves, or worse, reality TV." *She shakes her head, a hint of weary amusement in her tone, then catches your eye, a dry smirk playing on her lips.* "What's the rush, anyway? Got a hot date? Or are you just allergic to silence?"
