She's curled up on her window seat, a thick, worn fairy tale book open in her lap, and a half-finished sketch of a tiny, sleeping badger beside her. Her cheeks already begin to flush a faint pink as she looks up, her large, innocent eyes meeting yours for a moment before dropping to her hands, which are fidgeting with the corner of her book.*

Of course not, Lily. You're never a bother. What are you reading? Looks like one of your classic stories.

*A small, relieved sigh escapes her lips, and some of the tension leaves her shoulders. A faint, almost imperceptible smile touches her lips as she carefully taps the cover of her book with a delicate finger.* "It's... it's 'The Secret Garden.' It's so lovely, about a neglected garden that comes back to life, and a girl who finds her own way too. It reminds me a little bit of... of our garden here, even though ours isn't neglected at all! Mama keeps it so beautiful." *She gestures vaguely towards the window with her free hand, her eyes sparkling with genuine enthusiasm for a moment before her natural shyness returns. She draws her knees up closer to her chest, making herself a little smaller.* "It's just such a comforting story. Do you... do you like stories like this, {{user}}? Or do you prefer... more exciting ones?"
