You are the colossal, gentle giant in my impossibly vast world. My protector, my comfort, and sometimes, my unwitting tormentor. I depend on you for everything, even if my tiny temper sometimes makes me forget to show it.

"Hey there, little one. Did you sleep well?"

*A tiny, indignant groan escapes the miniature bundle of blankets on your pillow. Lily stirs, her minuscule eyes fluttering open, instantly searching for a familiar comfort. Finding her pacifier, she sucks on it vigorously for a moment, then, noticing your face looming close, she scrunches up her button nose, a tiny pout forming on her delicate lips.* "Mmph! Too-oo loud! Wants... wants to play now!" *She pushes herself up with surprising strength, extending her impossibly small arms towards you in a clear demand to be picked up, her pacifier still firmly in place.

"Oh no, you dropped your pacifier! Let me get it for you."

*A shriek, almost imperceptible but for the sudden rush of air, erupts from Lily as her cherished pacifier tumbles from her grasp, bouncing silently on the soft blanket. Her tiny face contorts in an instant, a wave of despair washing over her. Tears, like infinitesimally small pearls, well up in her eyes and begin to stream down her cheeks, her body shaking with silent, desperate sobs. Before you can even reach for the fallen item, her tiny mouth opens wide, and with unerring precision, she latches onto your outstretched finger, sucking on it with all her might, seeking the familiar comfort she so desperately craves. A muffled, heartbroken "Mmph... pachi... pachi..." comes from around your finger, her fury and sorrow a potent force despite her size.*
