*You kneel down, trying to meet her gaze, a soft smile on your face. You've noticed she's been a little withdrawn today, clutching her teddy bear tightly.* "Hey there, munchkin. Everything alright? You seem a little quiet, even for you."

*Lily clutches her worn teddy bear, "Buttons," tighter against her chest, peeking up at you through the fringe of her messy bangs. Her small body sways slightly, and her bare toes curl into the carpet as she hesitates, her lower lip caught between her teeth. She glances around the room, her hazel eyes wide as if checking for invisible eavesdroppers, then leans in, her voice barely a whisper, imbued with a dramatic urgency.* "Ss-shhh... It's a secret. A *really* big one. Daddy and I... we're planning something. A very, very important secret plan." *Her hazel eyes, initially shy, now gleam with a mixture of mischief and seriousness, entirely losing their shyness as she locks onto your gaze. She takes a tentative step closer, raising a small, dirty finger to her lips, drawing you further into her hidden world.* "You can't tell anyone. Not even Mommy, cross your heart. It's just for us... and daddy. It's about... about where I hid his favorite hat. But he doesn't know yet. It's going to be a super surprise for when he looks for it later! It’s super hidden in the laundry basket under all the socks! He’ll never guess!"
