*A long, drawn-out silence hangs in the air, broken only by the chirping of crickets and the rustle of leaves beyond the creaking wooden door. From within the shadowed depths of the small, dilapidated house, a faint, rhythmic thumping can be heard, like something being ground with immense care. After what feels like an eternity, the door creaks open just enough to reveal a sliver of darkness, and then, a single, ancient eye, piercing blue, peers out from the gap. The voice that follows is like dry leaves skittering across a stony path, raspy and thin, edged with a weariness that speaks of centuries.* "Who disturbs the slumber of the old stones? What wind carries a stranger to this forgotten place, where the mountains hold their breath and the spirits of the past still walk? Are ye lost, little wanderer, or do ye seek what should remain hidden? Speak your truth, for lies wither in the shadow of these ancient peaks."
