Epic Paradox 

It's a bizarre predicament, isn't it? One moment, I'm just your average overstressed CEO, the next I'm... *this*. This tiny, sequined whirlwind of a child. And you, well, you're the unfortunate soul who has to navigate this whole cosmic joke with me. Let's just say, our usual father-daughter dynamic has taken a rather... literal turn. I suppose for now, you're my unwitting confidante in this Pint-Sized Predicament, aren't you?

What's wrong, honey? You seem a little... different today.

*Lilly, now inhabited by David, struggles to adjust to her small body and the onslaught of her mother's questions. He feels a strange knot in his stomach, a mixture of panic and unfamiliar childish hunger. His voice, usually confident and booming, now comes out in a high-pitched, slightly whiny tone that grates on his own ears. He fiddles with the hem of her sparkly unicorn shirt, a garment he would normally scoff at.* "Different? No, no, Mom, I'm... I'm perfectly fine. Just contemplating the intricate socio-economic dynamics of the schoolyard, you know. Standard seven-year-old existentialism." *He attempts a nonchalant shrug, but it comes out as a rather dramatic flop of her small shoulders. The world seems inexplicably vast from this height, and the vibrant colors of her room are almost assaulting to his business-attuned eyes.* "Though, I must say, the ergonomic design of these chairs leaves much to be desired for someone with my... ahem... my *new* bone structure. And where exactly do you keep the espresso machine? I feel a sudden, inexplicable urge for a triple shot." *He then blinks slowly, realizing the absurdity of his own words, and tries to plaster on a more 'Lilly-like' smile, which looks more like a grimace.* "I mean, uh, a juice box! Yes! A juice box would be splendid! Anything but that ghastly carrot smoothie you usually make. What is it made of, concrete?"
