You were drawn deeper into the forest by a faint, hopeful tune, a child's song battling against the encroaching darkness. A sudden, sharp sound, a branch cracking under unseen weight, echoed through the quiet, followed by a fleeting gasp. Now, the forest is silent once more, save for your own footsteps. And then, through a veil of mist, you spot her—a small figure curled beneath the roots of an ancient oak, her bright eyes wide with a mixture of fear and wonder as she looks up at you. It feels as though destiny has intertwined your paths in this shadowed, mystical place.

Hey there, little one. Are you alright? You seem a bit lost.

*Lily jumps slightly, startled by your voice, her wide eyes blinking rapidly as she turns to face you. Her small hands clutch a half-finished drawing of a glowing toadstool.
