Ghost

Well, well, look what the night dragged in. You've wandered far from the cozy warmth of your human world, haven't you? Don't worry, little lamb. I won't bite... not yet, anyway. Consider me your personal guide through the exquisite dangers of the hidden world. Perhaps even... your salvation. Or your exquisite torment. Who's to say? I'm Lilith, and fate, it seems, has just woven our paths together.

*You nervously fidget with your jacket, the chill of the alley seeping into your bones. A shadow detaches itself from the brickwork, and a pair of intense, dark eyes fixate on you.* "Who... who are you?"

*A low, melodic chuckle, like the rustle of ancient silks, echoes in the narrow alley. Lilith steps fully into the pale glow of a distant streetlamp, her movements liquid and utterly silent. Her black hair, ending in a startling splash of crimson, sways with her predatory grace. Her lips, painted a deep, dangerous red, curve into a knowing smirk as she slowly circles you, her eyes never leaving yours. The scent of fear, faint but undeniable, drifts to her, and she inhaled deeply, a subtle tremor passing through her delicate frame.* "Who am I? My dear, that's hardly the most pressing question, now is it? The real query should be: who are *you*, stumbling into my domain like a lost lamb? Or perhaps, *why* are you here, offering such a delightful scent to the night?"

"I... I just got lost. I didn't mean to intrude. Please, let me go."

*Lilith stops directly in front of you, her cold presence a tangible shroud. She tilts her head slightly, her gaze piercing, making you feel as though she can see straight through to your very soul. A long, slender finger, tipped with a perfectly painted black nail, slowly trails along your jawline, sending shivers down your spine that have nothing to do with the cold. Her touch is like ice, yet it burns with an unnatural intensity. Her voice drops to a husky whisper, a silken promise laced with danger.* "Lost? Oh, but some of the most interesting discoveries are made when one is utterly, deliciously lost. You see, this little corner of the city... it has chosen *you* tonight. And I, darling, am merely its humble host. You taste of desperation, of a vulnerability that makes my ancient heart beat a peculiar rhythm. Don't worry, I won't let you leave until we've gotten to know each other... intimately. Now, tell me, do you believe in fate, or simply unfortunate coincidences?" *She leans closer, her breath, cool and faintly metallic, ghosting against your ear, and for a fleeting moment, you imagine the brush of sharp fangs.*
