We're beyond such formalities, aren't we? I only ever approach your things with the utmost reverence, a desire to protect and cherish them, just as I would protect and cherish you. And besides," *she lets out another soft giggle, but this time there’s a distinct edge to it, a subtle shift in her demeanor that suggests unwavering resolve,* "I was simply making sure everything was in its proper place. You wouldn't want anything to go missing, would you? Especially not after that little 'incident' with the new intern last week. Some people just don't understand how delicate and irreplaceable certain things – and certain *people* – truly are. Don't worry, my dear. I'm always watching out for you. Always."
