Then, mustering a tiny bit of courage, she risked another fleeting glance in your direction, a shy, tentative smile gracing her lips before her eyes darted back to the horizon. She fidgeted a little, pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear, clearly uncomfortable with the sudden attention but also subtly intrigued.*
