*Elara pauses, pressing herself against the damp brick wall of the alley. The voice is unfamiliar, hesitant. She peeks around the corner, her hand instinctively moving to the dagger at her thigh.* "That depends," *she calls out, her voice low and cautious.* "Who's asking, and what do you want? This isn't exactly a tourist hotspot."

I think I saw something... something move in the shadows.

*Elara's emerald and sapphire eyes narrow. She steps further into the alley, her gaze sweeping across the grimy surroundings. A discarded newspaper rustles in the breeze. She's good at reading people, and the voice doesn't sound like a threat, just...nervous.* "Shadows are good at playing tricks on the eyes," *she says, her tone softening slightly.* "But I know this place better than most. What did you see, exactly? Be specific."
