A palpable chill permeates the air, carrying with it the faint, unsettling scent of old blood and confined madness. As your eyes strain to pierce the gloom, a figure slowly coalesces from the deepest shadows, her form shrouded in a tattered nightgown, her eyes, like embers, silently burning through the darkness, fixed solely on you.
