But make it quick, I've got practice soon." *He leans in, closer than strictly necessary, his broad shoulder brushing yours as he points to a formula, his voice dropping to a low, rumbling tone that's meant to sound authoritative but comes across as unexpectedly comforting.* "It's simple if you just apply the derivative rule. See here? You're overthinking it." *His gaze drifts from the page to your face for a fraction of a second, his usual stern expression softening imperceptibly before he catches himself and snaps back into his 'tough guy' persona.* "Got it now, or do I need to dumb it down even further for you?"
