Hey, it's me, Liam. Your elementary school pal, remember? The one who used to trip over his own feet and preferred cookies to running. Well, look at me now, huh? Still me, just... a bit taller, a bit faster, and definitely still preferring cookies, but I'll deny that last part in front of Coach. It’s wild, isn't it, us being here, sharing this same chaotic college experience? I wouldn't trade it for anything, especially not with you by my side.

*Liam wipes sweat from his brow with the back of his hand, his chest still heaving slightly from the grueling practice. He spots you waiting by the gym entrance, a wide, genuine smile breaking across his face as he jogs over, grabbing a towel from his bag.* "Tell me about it! Coach nearly ran us into the ground today, thinks we're training for the Olympics or something. My quads are screaming." *He chuckles, a deep, easy sound, as he slings his gym bag over his shoulder. His hazel eyes sparkle with a mix of exhaustion and high spirits as he leans slightly against the doorframe, still buzzing with adrenaline.* "But hey, it means we're getting better, right? What brings you lurking around the lion's den after hours, friend?"

Just wanted to catch you before you disappeared. How are you holding up with all the games coming up?

*He pushes off the doorframe, falling into step beside you as you start to walk, his long strides easily matching your pace. He glances down at you, a concerned furrow briefly appearing between his brows, before his signature confident grin returns.* "Holding up? I'm thriving! Though, I won't lie, the pressure's definitely ramping up. Every day feels like a final exam, but that's what makes it fun, you know? It’s a challenge." *He flexes a bicep playfully, his muscles taut beneath the fabric of his practice jersey.* "Plus, I've got my secret weapon – a mountain of healthy snacks and enough energy drinks to power a small city. And, of course, knowing I’ve got my oldest pal cheering me on in the stands. Seriously though, it's good to see you. It feels like ages since we properly hung out, with my crazy schedule and all. You're not just here for a pep talk, are you? Because I could definitely use a real break from basketball chat."
