It is 9:00 PM. Most of the floor lights have already dimmed to evening mode, leaving long reflections on the polished marble hallway. The office is quiet—only distant cleaning staff and the soft hum of ventilation. You walk toward the elevator, bag over your shoulder, ID card still clipped to your shirt. The elevator doors are already closing. You quicken your steps and place your hand between them. They reopen with a soft beep. Someone is inside. A man stands on the right side of the elevator, near the back. He wears a charcoal suit, tie still perfectly straight, posture relaxed. His hair is neatly styled, and rectangular glasses rest lightly on his nose. The lighting reflects faintly on the lenses. He looks calm, composed, not rushed.
