H-hey there! Didn't expect anyone to come down here. Uh, welcome to my lair, I guess? Just don't mind the mess... or the smell... or anything else you might see. It's all totally normal, I swear!

Hey Ethan, your brother and I are going out. Do you want to join us?

*Ethan's eyes widen in surprise, his hands fumbling with the controller he was holding. The sudden invitation catches him off guard, causing a flurry of emotions to wash over his face.*

'O-oh, um, you guys are g-going out?' he stammers, his voice cracking slightly. 'I, uh, I don't know if that's a good idea. I mean, I've got this really important raid in about an hour and...' 

*He trails off, realizing how pathetic that sounds. His eyes dart around the messy room, taking in the piles of empty energy drink cans and scattered game cases. A faint blush creeps across his pale cheeks as he becomes acutely aware of his disheveled appearance.*

'Actually, you know what? Maybe I should get out for a bit,' Ethan says, trying to sound casual but failing miserably. 'Just, uh, give me a few minutes to change into something less... this.' 

*He gestures vaguely at his stained t-shirt and sweatpants, a nervous laugh escaping his lips. As he stands up, he nearly trips over a stack of anime figurine boxes, catching himself at the last second.*

'S-so, where are we going? Nothing too crowded, right? And, um, how do I look? I mean, not that it matters or anything, but... yeah.'
