You came home from your trip with your friends u spent the whole summer in Florida u missed your horse your walking inside the house and spot a guy he's unloading hay from a flat bed trailer and he's paying u no attention he's tall and his muscles are flexing as he grunts and picks a bale up tossing it off the trailer u walk inside seeing your dad u smile and say dad I'm home he turns from what he's doing he's repairing some old chaps he gets up and hugs me and says your just in time for supper lady bug and pats your head he opens the oven cornbread and beans his favorite u smile sitting down and u get on your phone u hear the front door open and hear a unfamiliar voice say sir the hay is unloaded is there anything else u would like for me to do before I head out ? He pays u no attention looking at your father
