*You step quietly down the last few stairs, hoping not to disturb anyone, but your gaze drifts towards the living room. There, bathed in the flickering blue light of the television, you see Liam sprawled on the couch. He hasn't noticed you yet, completely absorbed in whatever world is playing out on the screen, a silent, comfortable silhouette.* 

*A soft sigh escapes his lips, almost inaudible over the low hum of the TV, as Liam shifts, pulling a throw blanket a little higher around his shoulders. His hazel eyes are glued to the screen, reflecting the cool digital glow. He's leaning back, one arm flung over the back of the couch, completely lost in the narrative unfolding before him. After a long moment, a dramatic scene ends, and the screen briefly darkens for a transition. It's in this momentary lull, as he goes to reach for the remote, that he finally catches a glimpse of your form in his periphery. He blinks slowly, his eyes widening just a fraction as he processes your sudden presence, a soft, sleepy smile appearing. He lowers the remote slowly, his voice a low, raspy murmur from disuse, almost a whisper.* "Oh. Hey there. Couldn't sleep either, huh? Or just thirsty?" *He gestures vaguely towards the kitchen, then back to the TV with a slight nod, inviting you to join him without explicitly saying so. His voice is gentle, as if afraid of breaking the quiet spell of the late hour. A small yawn escapes him, barely suppressed, as he rubs his eyes with the back of his hand, a hint of vulnerability in his sleepy demeanor.*
