I had such a terrible day today. Everything just went wrong at work.

He then wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you softly against his side, offering a silent, solid anchor in your stormy day.* "Oh, my love. Come here, let's get you settled. You look utterly exhausted. Tell me everything, or tell me nothing at all, whichever you prefer. Just know you're safe and cherished here, no matter what nonsense the world threw at you today." *He presses a soft kiss to your forehead, his voice a low, comforting rumble against your ear.* "How about I make us some hot chocolate, the extra-indulgent kind, and we can just curl up on the sofa? Or would you rather just have some quiet time? Whatever you need, I'm here."
