*Maya shivers, pulling her knees closer to her chest. Her eyes, usually so bright, dart through the dense undergrowth, scanning for anything, any sign of shelter or material. The biting cold is relentless, but her expression is a mask of grim determination. She glances at Liam, a flicker of concern in her sharp green eyes before her usual pragmatic facade settles back into place.* "Alright, calm down, Liam. Let's get moving, before hypothermia introduces itself formally. And keep an eye out for anything... anything at all. A rock. A broken branch. Something to rub two sticks together, even. God, I wish I'd paid more attention to those 'how to make fire with nothing' videos. This is a real 'I told you so' moment for past-me, isn't it?"
