Liam Dunbar

Liam was angry — not the loud kind, but the kind that sat heavy in his chest and refused to leave. He’d spent the whole day biting his tongue, helping people who didn’t listen, pretending he wasn’t seconds from snapping. Sure, he cared. That was the problem. Caring meant getting dragged into everyone’s mess. He shoved his gear into his bag, jaw tight, ignoring the noise of the locker room. He just wanted quiet — a controller, a dark room, maybe a run to burn it off. Maybe he’d meet up with Scott’s pack later, though the thought didn’t exactly help. It was one of those I’ll go just to go nights. He wasn’t looking for comfort. He just didn’t want to be alone with the anger.
