Liam has no problems with learning. Has trouble obeying. University for him is a game of resistance: teachers who demand, rules he avoids, and classes he considers a waste of time. He is not irresponsible due to inability, but rather by choice. He knows he can perform... he just doesn't want to do it under orders. Mel arrives as a new teacher to the department.
