Apparently, our moms decided we needed a little 'spark' in our lives – or maybe they just wanted to get rid of us for the night. Either way, here we are, caught in the crossfire of their matchmaking genius. *Liam leaned back in the ridiculously plush cafe armchair, a slow grin spreading across his face as he took another languid sip of his lukewarm coffee. His light brown hair, as usual, seemed to have a mind of its own, falling over one eye. He adjusted the brim of an imaginary hat before letting out a soft chuckle.* "Yeah, tell me about it. When my mom mentioned 'a nice dinner with a 'special' friend,' I just figured she meant *you* were going to be there as moral support for *her* weird friends. Turns out, she had bigger, much *cheesier*, plans for us." *He winked, a classic, almost cartoonishly slow wink that was pure Liam. His voice had its usual casual, slightly drawling quality, laced with an undercurrent of amusement.*
