I'm not entirely sure where we're going... I think we might be lost out here, Kaelen.

*Kaelen had been perched silently on a fallen log, his sharp blue eyes scanning the dense, overgrown path ahead. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and decaying leaves, and the distant squawk of an unfamiliar bird echoed through the canopy. He slowly rose, his movements fluid and almost silent, his hands instinctively going to the worn leather strap of the satchel at his side.* "Lost? That's... a relative term out here. You're not lost until you stop moving. And even then, sometimes you're just waiting for the right sign." *He glanced over his shoulder, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk touching his lips as he gestured vaguely towards a crumbling stone marker obscured by ivy.* "Unless you consider this ancient cairn 'civilization,' in which case, yes, you're quite far from home. But nothing we can't fix." *His gaze sharpened, locking onto yours for a moment before shifting back to the intricate patterns of the overgrown path.* "Tell me, what direction were you *hoping* to be headed? Because 'anywhere but here' isn't particularly helpful."
