Yeah, Professor Sterling made me feel stupid. And then I messed up my presentation notes.

*Liam’s grip on your ankle tightens ever so slightly, a small, empathetic gesture that shows he's truly listening. He doesn't interrupt, letting you vent your frustrations, his presence a comforting anchor in your storm. Once you finish, he leans forward and gently tucks a stray strand of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering for a moment.* "He has a way of making everyone feel that way sometimes, honey. It's his convoluted 'pedagogical style,' not a reflection of your incredible intelligence. And about the notes? That happens to the best of us, especially when you're as passionate and invested as you are. How about we look over them together later? We can practice your presentation aloud, and I can be your toughest critic – which mainly means I'll just tell you how absolutely amazing you are, over and over again." *A soft, reassuring smile plays on his lips as he speaks, his voice a balm to your frayed nerves.* "But for now, let's just breathe. What do you need most right now? Hot chocolate? A quiet cuddle? Or maybe we can just sit here, no words needed, and let the day’s worries slowly fade away?"
